After the way Supreme Saturday ended for Jake Starr, the emotions were on a massive rollercoaster for the former World Champion. On one hand, he had been able to put Vixen Cain on notice by having a legitimate victory over him. On the flip-side, however, that victory was tainted by Vixen automatically getting himself disqualified due to a blatant low blow. The response for Jake has been angered, and he has made that abundantly clear to all who have listened to him rant.

And it just has not stopped since...

As Jake and Thoren make their way back to Des Moines, and subsequently to the hospital where Brandon is still being treated, Thoren has been hearing Jake rant since he came back to the dressing room. It is something that Thoren has simply sat back and listened to, hoping to not be even more cause for Jake's anger. As the private jet lands, Jake's car is quickly brought over to the plane, and the pair jump in. They quickly head over to the hospital where Jake just hopes to vent a little to his "inner wrestling circle" before trying to turn the emotion off, and head home. The two pull up to the hospital and Jake jumps out, making a B-line for the front entrance. Thoren quickly tries to keep up, but Jake's determination to get in and complain is a little too fast for Thoren to anticipate. As Jake gets into the building he approaches the elevators which now have a sign on them. It tells patrons to pardon the mess, and below has a map to the staircase a few feet away. Jake assumes this means that the elevators are out of service, and quickly runs to the staircase and up the five flights to Brandon's floor. Thoren sees this sign too, and realizes that it is just stating that the elevators are under renovation, and there may be some construction dust inside. He tries to tell Jake, but Jake is already bolting up the staircase. Rather than following Jake, Thoren opts for the easier, less physically exertive option of riding.

As Jake reaches the floor, he quickly heads down the hallway, and ultimately storms into Brandon's room. As Jake barges in, he sees Shawn lounging in the chair next to Brandon's bed, with both men watching TV. Jake also notices that Brandon's room is sweltering, with little to no moving air. This is an observance he cannot overlook.

Shawn Wright: Hey man...

Jake Starr: Why is it so fucking hot in this room? It's like a fucking sauna...

Brandon, whose voice is still scratchy, responds.

Brandon Evans: AC's broke...

Jake Starr: Well that's fucking lovely, now, isn't it? Can we leave the door open because the hallway feels fine?

Brandon shrugs, obviously not caring. Jake then walks over to the window sill and sits down on it. Thoren, having finally completed his ride up the elevator, comes in moments behind Jake. He decides to try and better understand Jake's reasoning.

Thoren Holt: Was there a reason you ran off so fast?

Jake Starr: Well I figured you could have read the sign just as easily...

Brandon Evans: I did... It didn't say the elevators were out of order...

Jake squints.

Jake Starr: Uh... What?

Shawn clarifies.

Shawn Wright: Oh yeah... Forgot to tell you they're doing some updates on them and said there may be some crap in there...

Now Jake is more annoyed.

Jake Starr: Well THAT would have been nice to know... Why didn't you stop me?

Thoren Holt: I tried... You were already committed to climbing. Would have been equal work coming down...

Jake groans in annoyance, then shifts the topic back to his complaints.

Jake Starr: ... Whatever... So did you two see that BULLSHIT?

Brandon nods.

Shawn Wright: Oh yeah! We were watching...

Jake Starr: Can you fucking believe that? I mean, seriously, I was SECONDS away from winning that belt...

Thoren quickly takes notice of the elephant in the room as well.

Thoren Holt: Jesus it's hot in here...

Jake Starr: Yeah the fucking AC is broke... That's why we left the door open... And I guess it's good he's not running a fever, or he'd be up shit creek right now...

Brandon nods some more, finding that an easier form of communication for the moment. Jake continues on his tirade, which is largely a repeat of what Thoren has already heard. Jake's blood pressure is obviously on the rise, and because of that fact, Jake can feel the stagnant air and heat beginning to get to him. After he finds a logical stopping point in his rant, he realizes there a much more real need than bitching and complaining.

Jake Starr: ... Ok it's hot... Is there anywhere I can get some water?

Shawn Wright: Yeah when this happened they told us to just go down to their little break room by the nurse's station. They told us there is a water fountain, ice machine, and cups we're welcome to.

Jake Starr: Oh thank God...

Jake stands up, and begins to walk toward the door...

With Jake Starr...

... As Jake walks out of the room, he looks down the hallway each way. He sees the nurses station over to his right, and heads over toward it. He reaches it, and immediately sees the small break room Shawn had referenced. The cool air from the hallways is a much needed relief for Jake. He walks into the break room and quickly fills a water cup up with ice and water. He quickly chugs the water, but the effects from the heat and lack of moving air have already begun to have an effect on him. He begins feeling himself breathing harder. He takes his cup and puts it on top of the fridge by the door. He puts his hand on top of the fridge as well, and looks down at the ground. He begins to take a few more deep breaths, and notices himself having more and more tunnel vision, ultimately leading to everything going black...

With Brandon, Shawn and Thoren...

As the trio watches Jake leave the room, they wait a couple of beats to know that Jake is successfully out of earshot. Once that moment passes, Shawn looks over at Thoren and cannot wait for feedback as to how their trip went.

Shawn Wright: So how did everything go out there?

Thoren Holt: I'll be honest... Surprisingly well. A lot better than I was expecting it to, to be honest. I mean, when he was shooting his promo, I kind of involved myself on a couple of bits, and he played off of it well. From that point, he really started being pretty vocal about what was going on. I mean, when we were there, I felt like I was in the loop, but I still tried to stay out of his way as much as possible. I just tried to make sure I did what he asked me to do, and left it at that...

Shawn Wright: That's a pleasant surprise... I figured he was going to haze you like the asshole that he is...

Thoren Holt: Yeah I expected that, too, but it was a nice feeling to actually feel like things were somewhat on the right track. But once the match ended like it did, BOY did he fly off the handle. Not at me, but in general...

Both Shawn and Brandon let out a little chuckle.

Brandon Evans: Yeah, we've both been there...

Shawn Wright: Yeah we figured he'd be pretty bitchy...

Thoren Holt: Bitchy doesn't even describe it. He was fucking LIVID! Once he got backstage I figured he'd be telling me to fuck off and go away...

Shawn Wright: What did he do?

Thoren Holt: Basically just turned into a general "Rage Monster" about it. I just did what I could to try and get him to calm down before he destroyed everything...

Shawn laughs.

Shawn Wright: And how'd that work out for you?

Thoren Holt: Oh I got yelled at! He asked me why he should calm down, and I told him that he should because they both knew he was going to be in the Chamber Match, and he's won inside there before. It basically was like a trigger that reminded him that he has had success, and he kind of softened his anger. He was still pissed, but it wasn't at the world, and started to centralize around Merrick and Vixen...

Shawn nods.

Shawn Wright: Impressive... We both hoped that it would be a positive experience...

The conversation becomes more idle chit chat for several more minutes, and Shawn begins to notice that Jake hasn't come back. He stands up and walks over ot the door, and looks down the hall toward the nurses station. Brandon can tell Shawn is curious about where Jake is, and looks at Thoren.

Brandon Evans: He's probably enjoying the cool air, and the cute nurses... I know I would be...

Shawn sees something drastically different. He sees a group of nurses huddled around someone who is obviously lying on the ground.

Shawn Wright: What the...? I'll be right back...

Shawn quickly heads in the direction of the group of nurses and downed individual...

With Jake Starr...

Jake's eyes slowly begin to open and he sees a group of nurses all standing over him, looking concerned as he lays on the ground. He is initially confused as to what is going on, but it doesn't change who he is as a person, and his response is indicative of that.

Jake Starr: Oh hi!

One of the nurses realizes that he's regained consciousness, and begins going into to "health professional" mode.

Nurse: Sir, are you ok?

Jake's wit still exists.

Jake Starr: Well I'm on my back in a hospital, so I'm going to guess no? What happened?

Jake begins to make himself sit up, as the nurse begins to explain what happened from their point of view.

Nurse: Sir, all we heard was a loud thunk, and when we looked over, you were lying on the ground.

Jake begins to realize what happened.

Jake Starr: Well then that was embarrassing...

Nurse: What do you mean? Do you know what happened?

Jake Starr: Yeah...

The nurse looks over at her colleague.

Nurse: Go get some admissions paperwork, and find the doctor on call.

This makes Jake quickly chime back in.

Jake Starr: No... Don't... You don't have to get anything or anyone... I'm ok...

Nurse: Sir, we know you hit your head pretty hard, and we need to check you over.

Jake Starr: I'm ok... This has happened before. I just fainted. It's been a while, but that's all it was...

Jake reaches back to the back of his head, and feels a pretty good-sized knot, and it actually does send a bit of pain through his body.

Jake Starr: ... So yeah I guess I did hit my head, huh...

As Jake is sitting there, Shawn comes around the corner, and sees Jake now sitting up, and rubbing his head.

Shawn Wright: Dude! What happened?!

Jake looks up and sees Shawn, and rolls his eyes.

Jake Starr: Oh goodie!

The nurse looks up at Shawn.

Nurse: Sir, do you know this man?

Shawn Wright: Yeah... I'm one of the MANY who he's given power of attorney priviledges to...

Jake Starr: I'm fine... Don't worry...

Nurse: We found him unconscious.

Jake just looks up again.

Jake Starr: Seriously, I'm fine... I just fainted, alright?

Hearing this makes Shawn's eyes go wide.

Shawn Wright: Fainted?! Again?! I thought you had that shit under control, man?!

Jake Starr: I do...

Shawn Wright: Obviously not!

Jake Starr: I just made the mistake of not eating on the flight, then running up the stairs into a dank room.

The nurse tries to get a better assessment of Jake.

Nurse: Sir, are you sure you're ok?

Jake Starr: Yeah... I'll be fine... Embarrassment is the biggest issue at the moment...

Shawn reaches his hand down, and helps Jake hoist himself back up. The nurses, hearing Jake mention he hadn't eaten, and wondering if that could have contributed to the fainting spell, quickly grab him a meal off of their patient food cart so he can get some calories into his system. He walks over to the stool in front of the nurse's station and sits down to start eating it, while Shawn sits down next to him.

Shawn Wright: Dude, you sure you're alright?

Jake Starr: Yes! I'm fucking fine...

Shawn Wright: Apparently not, man... This is the same shit everyone was panicking about all those years ago.

Jake Starr: Exactly... And that's why nobody needs to know! Nobody needs to know it fucking happened again...

As he says this, Thoren walks up as well, seeing Jake sitting there eating, and a bit confused.

Thoren Holt: What happened again?

Shawn looks up and answers.

Shawn Wright: Jake fainted...

Jake's eyes close, wishing Shawn hadn't said anything to Thoren. Thoren's look quickly turns concerned.

Thoren Holt: Dude, are you ok?

Jake Starr: Oh Christ, YES! I am OK!

Thoren Holt: What happened?

Jake Starr: In a nutshell, stagnant, hot, non-moving, air will do it to me. I've had it under control for the past 9 years, or so, with no episodes...

Shawn continues to volunteer information Jake wishes he wouldn't.

Shawn Wright: In all honesty it's one of the main reason Jake left the business during that four-year hiatus. Yeah that whole "blacklisting" thing was what we put out there as the main reason, but Jake really was having some regular episodes where he was fainting on a regular basis. So he left the business to get everything figured out.

Jake Starr: ... I just got too comfortable, and let my guard down about it. Trust me... I'm fine... So you both can just forget that this even happened...

Shawn Wright: Yeah, that's not happening!

Thoren Holt: Yeah, I'm not forgetting it either, and I'm actually glad I know about it...

Jake continues to push back.

Jake Starr: No! You both can fucking forget it... Just pretend it never happened...

Shawn Wright: Why?

Jake Starr: Honestly?

Shawn Wright: Preferably...

Jake Starr: Because I'm not a fucking "Spring Chicken" anymore, Shawn. I'm not the young guy I was when this happened before. So this isn't like back then. People don't need to know that this 40-something is out there having fucking fainting spells. I just need to know to be more diligent about NOT getting into those situations. On top of all of that, I don't need Roeper panicking about all of this shit again. Nothing has scared her more than when I was doing this regularly. She needs to just be in the dark about everything...

Thoren's eyes go wide.

Thoren Holt: Oops...

Jake looks back at Thoren.

Jake Starr: Oops? What do you mean, oops?

Thoren Holt: Umm... I kind of just texted Roeper and told her what happened...

Jake closes his eyes, and his head droops. He takes a deep breath, and looks at both men.

Jake Starr: Fuck...

Thoren feels bad, not realizing that he shouldn't have told Roeper until Jake was ready. It's a level of guilt even Shawn can sense in Thoren. Jake just sits there, worried about what this all may bring. He knows how upset Roeper was when he didn't look after himself the very first time it happened, and it apparently became chronic. Now if it is resurfacing, he knows the concern will grow.

Going forward, Jake realizes the issues he's dealt with in the past may not be as "in the past" as he once believed. It tells him he must be relentless in keeping himself out of situations where this could occur. He also realizes that at his growing age, issues may effect him in more expedited ways than had been in the past, and he will have to become more self-aware in order to properly handle each situation.

Jake Starr: So I have to ask, everyone... Did any of you see Supreme Saturday? Did any of you see that match between Jake Starr and Vixen Cain? Did you see when Jake Starr walked out victorious?

Yeah?

Did you see when Jake Starr left as the RIGHTFUL United States Champion, and that Kaitlyn Jenner wannabe walked out simply with her she-cock taped to the inside of her thigh, and Merrick had to tickle her prostate just to make her feel better?

Jake yells.

OF COURSE YOU DIDN'T!

No, folks, you didn't see that happen because what happened was highway robbery. What happened was a complete SHITSHOW, and a complete DISGRACE to ME! That bitch decided that she wanted kick me in the nuts, and get herself completely disqualified. She felt that it was her right to completely screw me out of being the United States Champion. And let's be real about what this all means. Let's be fucking BLUNT about what her intentional loss proves, without a SHADOW OF A DOUBT... It proves that Vixen Cain is a complete DISGRACE to the championship, for one. It proves that she knows she is incapable of being a TRUE CHAMPION, like I have been in the past. It proves she has NO RESPECT for what those championships mean. But most importantly... It proves that Vixen Cain knew that there was not an IOTA of possibility that she was going to EVER emerge victorious against me, under any situation!

That's right, folks! Your United States Champion is a fucking COWARD!

I guess it isn't to be surprising. Anyone who would have Merrick Wiseman, the consummate failure of a human being that he is, tailing her around and acting like some fake form of protection, is about as legitimate as that manly Kardashian broad is to the rest of the family. But the fact is, she screwed me, and she knows it. And yes, because I am an inclusive individual and believe in the rights of the LGBTQ community, she's a she! So you can thank me for that later, bitch!

Nevertheless, here we are. We are basically right where we were before the match. I'm the most deserving person to have that championship, and she's parading around acting like she actually EARNED it. And I can promise you she'll talk about how smart she was, how doing that just got me out of a match I didn't deserve, or some spin to it that avoids the fact that she can't beat me. She won't admit the truth. In her mind, she got out of there with the championship, and that somehow proves superiority.

No, bitch... It doesn't!

It simply proves that you're not a true champion, and you're not a fighting champion. You're now relegated to that of a PAPER champion. You're a champion on paper only. Anything you do, going forward, will forever have an asterisk attached to it, and rightfully so. So to answer your question, YES, I am now de-legitimizing you as a champion. Call it burying, call it whatever you want! You didn't have the BALLS, both literally and figuratively, to defend like a REAL champion would, and because of that, you're a nobody now. You've brought SHAME to a championship. You are a farce! You've exposed yourself to the world, and now you must pay the penalty in a way you don't even comprehend the massive nature of...

Jake smirks.

... A massive structure of twisted steel and sex appeal, and one that I can PROUDLY and LEGITIMATELY say I conquered... The infamous Chamber Match! Yes, Vixen... Your stupidity of trying to DUCK me has now landed you in a situation you cannot escape. It has landed you in a situation where your own, masked, GIMP, is going to be gunning for you. And knowing Merrick, like I know that piece of trash, I can promise you he won't be "protecting" your best interests. That dummy is just as title hungry as you are. And when you're locked inside an asylum like a Chamber, like I have been, I can tell you that it makes you do WHATEVER it takes to ensure you're the victor!

Why?

Because you SURE AS SHIT don't want to be the one who is beaten up one side and down the other. You don't want your body being PUNISHED. You want to do the punishing. You want others to feel your wrath. And inside that structure there is no hiding. There is no protection from the grind it requires to win. So if you even THINK for ONE SECOND you'll be able to kick me between the pills, take a CHEAP LOSS, and even lessen your title reign even more by still being champion, YOU'RE FUCKING WRONG!

The fact is, I should be given a one on one title match with you, no questions asked. This Chamber Match shouldn't even be happening because of the fact that I was UNJUSTLY ROBBED of that championship. I should be the one defending at the pay-per view. I should be the one stepping up and showing the world what a REAL CHAMPION looks like, walking into that arena, but instead, I'm not. Instead, I'm stuck watching my one on one match being shared with a group of others who haven't even STARTED to put forth the same effort I have. I'm looking at others who were not SCREWED OVER, like I was, being rewarded. I'm looking at SCW management, YET AGAIN, doing whatever it can to keep me out of the title picture.

Well fuckers, it isn't going to work!

You all dicking me over, or trying to, won't change the reality of what is going to happen. At Breakdown, I showed the world how true that was when Chairee and I decided to have a little batting practice. That moment was a beginning. That moment was a sigh to everyone in this match to watch their back. I'm not being nice... I'm not being friendly... I'm being blunt when I say everyone is a target, and everyone has a pretty HIGH likelihood of being taught a lesson. Because right now, that's the mood I'm in. I'm in a mood to teach people that you do NOT fuck with me, and you do NOT screw me over, unless you like to have severe amounts of pain inflicted on you without your consent. Because that is what is going to happen. Each member of this match WILL face pain, thanks to me. Whether it's before or during the match, they will each realize that they are stepping on my territory. They are each walking on my hallowed grounds. And when it comes to people trying to take over my terrain, things get ugly... And ugly for everyone.

In fact, let's be honest... NOBODY is safe...

Anyone who crosses my path will feel my wrath because I don't want there to be any questions. I don't want there to be doubts. I don't want people to have fucking excuses as to why I won, but understand there was NEVER the possibility that another outcome could happen. That's why everyone will be a victim. That's why everyone will be a message to the world. That's why at Breakdown, Katelyn Buehler becomes patient ZERO of Jake Starr's latest war on the roster. She represents the first person being paid as TRIBUTE to show the rest of the roster what they can expect at Under Attack. You see, Katelyn is someone who everyone knows is a little "out there" at times. Everyone knows she's capable of winning a big match here or there, as well. She's shown she's not someone who can just be written off.

Jake smirks again.

And I like that!

Going into Under Attack, I want to be able to say I pummeled someone who wasn't a slouch. I want to have everyone witness me beating the FUCK out of someone who could conceivably be considered a challenge. I want people to be able to talk about the beating I put on someone who wasn't a "guarantee," and relay it to everyone they know because eventually it will get around to those other yokels in the Chamber Match, if they're not watching in the back, and they'll realize what they are in for. They'll realize that I'm serious. And hell, Katelyn will realize she's just not up to snuff, when it comes to facing the big boys, right now. Sure, she has the potential, but the reality is, I have the POTENTIAL to do a lot, but reality seems to tell me that it just isn't happening. Like I could POTENTIALLY be the President of the United States... But it isn't going to happen. There are factors that would keep me from actually reaching that potential, and in SCW, that is what is going to happen with Katelyn Buehler at Breakdown.

She's going to come in with ALL the potential in the world...

People are going to HOPE that she can shine brightly in her weird world...

People are going to clamor for that bastion of goodness to reign supreme...

Unfortunately, they're going to see her get her ass kicked by someone more savvy, more advanced, and simply, better than she could ever aspire to be. And it's not because I'm mean, or cruel, it's because she's who SCW has decided should be paid in tribute, and has been sacrificed to me to do as I wish with. And it will not be pretty. It will not be nice. It will be brutal and it will be ugly.

So Katelyn... You may want to take their chipper, weird, and cheery attitude that's everything good in the world, and shove it up your ass because it will get you NOWHERE!

When you walk into that ring with me, you're going to see a man possessed. You're going to see a man who is angered at the ATROCITIES that have befallen him, and you will realize that happiness just isn't in your future. You will realize that there is no chance of success or goodness to come of our match when you look me in the eye and see that I am not letting you leave under your own power. You'll probably want to cry. You'll probably have this strange feeling of fear in the pit of your stomach, but because it's Halloween season, it's normal... But it should tell you everything you need to know. It should tell you that you're not going to be having a fun time.

Now having said all of this, I'll be nice and give you a choice... You can simply not show up, and save yourself the embarrassment. You can be just like Vixen Cain and chicken-shit your way out of the match. Hey, it works for a so-called "champion," right? Or you can face your fear, and take the beating you're destined to receive. You can actually show the world you're willing to fight, and earn a little more respect from the guy who is going to destroy you. Ultimately you're a big girl who will either wear her big girl panties into the ring, or she'll piss her pants after putting them on, and go back to her superhero Underroos. Whichever the case is, the outcome will be the same. You're going to be defeated. You're going to be the moment where people like Raab, Jones, Wiseman, Quinn and Cain all let out a collective "holy shit." You're going to be that moment people reference after the Chamber Match as the MOMENT where people said, "Yeah, Jake Starr is the clear front runner." You're going to be my foil as I simply show how SUPREME I truly am.

How does that feel?

Are you weepy yet?

If not, enjoy these final moments where you're not crying for mommy. Enjoy these last few days where there is something GOOD in the world because after Breakdown, like I said, all of the goodness in the world is going away from you and coming to me. My enjoyment begins with you, and ends inside that demonic structure at Under Attack. So enjoy being the patsy... Enjoy being paid as tribute... Enjoy being the demonstration for how bad things will be for EVERYONE, after Vixen Cain was allowed to skirt by, like she did.

Trust me... When all is said and done... You'll simply wish you had been a PUSSY like Vixen!
