Everyone has experienced a moment that has redefined who they are, and what they stand for. For Jake Starr, it was a night when the world watched him completely lose it, and begin way-laying people with a steel chair, without any reservations whatsoever. It was a moment that officially put Jake on the opposite site of basically every superstar in the business of professional wrestling. It was also a moment that Jake showed no remorse for. The fans stood in shock as Jake left the arena that night, and it was an image that was burned into their minds.

One of their favorites had gone astray.

As Jake walked to the back, and into the locker room, Jake's mind raced. As confident as he was about assaulting the likes of Donovan Kayl and Kennedy Street, the questions of why he just did what he did truly spiraled through his mind as he began to rationalize what he had just done. He had done something he didn't think he had in him. He had crossed a line and ventured into a very dark area of his own psyche, and to a degree, he really liked it. He also began to realize that what he just did didn't just put him against the "good guys" or just the "bad guys," but it put him at odds with the world.

This type of challenge was one that made him feel in a manner he had not felt in a long time. While the enjoyment of the beating was there, the realization that he was entering into a war with the numbers so far out of his favor gave him a knot in the pit of his stomach. He didn't know if the odds would be so stacked against him, that he would ultimately have to admit defeat before ever getting comfortable in his new role. Nevertheless, he did know that what he was the equivalent of the old cliche, "making your own bed, now you have to lay in it."

As he returned to the locker room, Jake knew he would be Public Enemy Number One. He knew the locker room would be seething at his unprovoked attack, and he wanted to get out of there as quick as he could, for his own safety. As he gets out of the arena and gets back to the hotel, he quickly sees a growing crowd awaiting some of the wrestlers, especially Jake Starr. Brandon and Thoren quickly spring into action, and grab Jake's belongings. They purposely walk in the view of the fans, drawing their attention away from the main entrance of the hotel. The fans are quick to begin asking, yelling, and wanting answers, wondering why Jake did what he did. The duo assures the crowd Jake is on his way, hoping it keeps them at bay, and allows Jake to get inside. Once Jake receives an alert that the coast is clear, he makes a mad dash inside, sneaking silently behind the throngs of fans who are ambushing his compatriots. Thinking he's in the clear, Jake slows his pace down, but is immediately flagged down by a bellhop.

Bellhop: Excuse me, Mister Starr?

Jake assumes the bellhop is a fan, and sighs, but the bellhop is not a wrestling fan in the least. He simply pulls out an envelope from his jacket pocket, and hands it to the Social Misfit.

Jake Starr: What is this?

The bellhop shrugs.

Bellhop: I'm not sure, sir. I was just asked to deliver it to you.

Jake Starr: By who?

The bellhop shrugs.

Bellhop: I'm not sure who he was, sir.

Jake Starr: So you just took some envelope for me from some random guy? Jesus, what kind of security... You know what, never mind...

Jake rips the envelope open to find a room key with a Post-It Note attached to it. The sticky note simply reads the text "413." Jake cocks an eyebrow, and turns to walk away without saying a word to the bellhop. As he passes the front desk, he decides to make an inquiry, to try and shed some light on the situation. He approaches the woman who is behind the counter.

Jake Starr: Can you tell me who from our "group" is checked into 413?

The woman recognizes Jake as one of "those wrestler guys," and looks it up on her computer. She slowly shakes her head before responding.

Night Clerk: Sir, nobody is checked into 413. Is there something wrong with your room that we need to take care of?

Jake simply looks puzzled.

Jake Starr: Well who IS checked in there, then?

Night Clerk: Sir... Nobody is...

Jake looks down at his hand, below the counter, where the room key is, and takes a deep breath.

Jake Starr: Ok...

Jake quickly turns and sprints toward the elevators. Both Brandon and Thoren catch a glimpse of Jake streaking off, and don't know what is going on, but begin to try and weave their way through the mob to follow suit. Jake wastes no time, as he reaches the elevators, pressing the fourth floor button. As the elevator arrives, Jake quickly ends up in front of room 413, and mumbles to himself...

Jake Starr: What am I doing? Oh hell, why not...

Jake puts the key into the lock, and sure enough the LED light flickers green, and the door unlocks. Jake slowly turns the handle and walks into a complete dark room with the exception of a little glow between the curtains from the moon. He begins to look for a light switch, and as he finds one, a voice echoes.

Man: Do not flip that switch, Jake...

Jake stands quickly on alert, feeling a chill go down his spine. He knows, now, that he is truly not alone in this room. Thanks to the rays of moonshine, Jake turns to see a large figure of a man standing in the shadows. Jake gets a sense that the situation has just turned dire, and his "tough guy" persona begins to kick in.

Jake Starr: Who in the hell are you?

The man doesn't move, but replies.

Man: Don't worry about that...

Jake Starr: I'm in a dark room with a large, and apparently bear-like, hulking, gentleman, who has told me not to turn the lights on... I would say that is definitely something to worry about!

Man: ... And even in dire situations, Jake Starr is still a smart ass...

Jake Starr: Well you know, if I wasn't, people my get concerned for my health and well being.

Man: That may be... But the person who should be the most concerned about your well being, right now, is you, Jake...

Jake cocks an eyebrow.

Jake Starr: Oh is that right? And why is that, big man?

Man: It's because you just waged war on the world, Jake, and quite frankly that puts the odds far from favorable for you.

Jake Starr: Aww... Thanks for the pep talk, big guy... I'll be sure to file that away in my, "If I gave a shit, bin!"

Jake turns to leave, but the man calmly interjects.

Man: You're welcome to leave, Jake, but if you walk out that door, it'll be the dumbest decision you have ever made in your life...

Jake freezes, feeling insulted, and turns back around.

Man: ... Heh... You're not as stupid as most people out there make you out to be...

Jake gets more snarky in his replies, and more pissed off deep down.

Jake Starr: Who in the HELL do you think you are talking to? How DARE you talk to ME like that?! DO YOU KNOW WHO THE FUCK I AM?! I am the fucking former SCW AND IWC World Champion! I am the guy who EMBARRASSED Silas Mason and his ENTIRE BROOD of retards! I am the fucking guy who just sent SHOCKWAVES through the ENTIRE SCW locker room with a few swings of a chair. I am the guy who made EVERYONE realize I wasn't playing the role of "Mister Nice Guy" any fucking longer! I am...

The man immediately cuts Jake off, and finishes his sentence.

Man: ... A pariah...

Jake's ranting ways freeze as he is shocked to hear that comment, and he is taken aback. In a sense, the man just admitted to understanding Jake for who he truly is. Jake, shocked, can only muster a simple reply.

Jake Starr: ... Yeah...

Man: Believe me, Jake, I understand the feeling quite well. Like you, I've done many things in my own right. I've made a mark on this business. Unfortunately for me, right now, I'm in the same boat as you, and that's why I am here.

Jake is confused.

Jake Starr: What do you mean?

Man: I mean that you NEED me, Jake...

Jake scoffs.

Jake Starr: Did you really just say that? Because if my memory serves me right, just a couple fucking hours ago, I was handling my business on my fucking own. Besides, dumbass, I'm not alone...

Man: Are you really believing that you can handle this type of war with the likes of a washed up, recovering junkie and a wannabe wrestler who is acting like you're some kind of deity that I should be bowing to, right now? Because if that is the team you're entrusting your safety to, I'm seriously going to enjoy watching you get dismantled inch by inch.

Jake Starr: Well thanks for the vote of confidence...

Man: Jake, this isn't about me thinking you couldn't handle it, which I won't lie you probably can't, but if anyone could really piss everyone off and succeed, you're one of those people, but there is a bigger picture you need to address here. You see, Jake, the two of us are birds of a feather. We come from the same lineage of mindsets in this business. For us, it's always about being number one. It's about being the best, Jake. People tend to forget when a new person comes into the mix, and you and I both want to remind them who we both are.

Jake Starr: Well thanks, there, for saying the same shit I said...

Man: Would you shut up and listen, Jake? If you want to be remembered in this business, and do what you did in the past, we have to pool our resources together. The two of us could easily change the course of history. If done right, we BOTH could easily get what we want, and make this business about us both again. Don't get me wrong, Jake, I'm not here to beg you or grovel for you to do this. I'm not here to make you realize what would be best. I'm merely telling you what the smart move to do is. If you want to be stubborn and try to die on a cross, then so be it. It won't hurt my feelings. I just know what the bigger picture here, is, and I know that you and I could escallate things much faster than you with your stupid chair...

Jake scoffs again.

Man: ... Jake, it's up to you...

Jake Starr: So what if I agree, here? I don't even know who the fuck you are.

Man: And you won't, for now... Now isn't the right time...

Jake rolls his eyes.

Jake Starr: Of course it isn't...

Man: If you're smart, Jake, you'll think. You will dig deep, and you see the same thing that I'm already seeing. If you do that, and the time comes, it'll be in your court to come and find me, and talk. I'm simply laying the first spike in the long railroad ahead. Right now, though, you need to think what you hope to accomplish from this war, and if you're smart and see the big picture, you'll figure out who I am. You'll see the potential. You'll realize what we can do together. Then, only then, will we be able to change how people perceive us both. Only then will people quit looking at us cross ways. Only then will the tide turn on the SCW landscape, and people will be FORCED to admit that we're the best around.

Jake has had enough.

Jake Starr: You know... Fuck this...

Jake quickly turns around and goes for the light switch. As he flips the light on, and turns around, he is surprised to see nobody there. He stands there bewildered. After the shock of being alone fades, he immediately begins to look around, trying to figure out where the man may be hiding.

Realizing he truly is alone, the confusing, the uncomfortableness, everything that he has heard, has his mind racing as he tries to figure out what just happened. His mind tries to figure out who it was that was standing there, and where they could have gone. He wonders why this man came to him, and what he meant by being birds of a feather. He cannot fathom why anyone would want to team with him, after everything that he just did, and what he recently just said. It's a puzzle that has him troubled, and completely confused as to what to do next.

Jake Starr: When Jake Starr speaks, it would behoove people to actually shut up, and listen because what I say is how things play out. I had been talking to the world about things changing, and at Flawless, that change begun. Merrick Wiseman and his trusty sidekick Tonto walked into that arena thinking they were going to bring TRUTH and JUSTICE and the AMERICAN WAY, just like Superman, but instead, they both got to taste what it's like to have two of the biggest superstars in HISTORY beat your ass from one side of the arena to the other, and ultimately taste the lovely taste of DEFEAT. It was such a sweet sight to behold, as Wiseman thought he and his little buddy would be able to just march in and win... But they didn't!

What happened was just what I said would happen. Merrick Wiseman would walk out into that arena, and be embarrassed. I made sure of it, and I ensured that Xander saw the same benefits of it as well. So when we saw Johnny Law do what he does best, and try to get away before actually MANNING UP TO FIGHT, Xander put him right back into the lion's den... And the poor sap got his ass beaten down YET AGAIN! Wasn't it a grand sight? I mean, how often, lately, have you seen me so gleeful? The fact is, Merrick has been trying to make my life hell, and been trying to hide under this GUISE of justice for too long. I, for one, am WAY TOO FUCKING TIRED of seeing that Mr. Dickwad decide that Wiseman gets to run the show, when he has done NOTHING but make this personal for me. So when I got the chance to stomp a mud hole in him, or give his little justice system the finger by throwing the "evil closed fist," I DID IT!

I ENJOYED IT!

I REVELED IN IT!

Merrick wasn't the law at Flawless. Xander and I, heh, we put the LAW in Flawless. But why? Why did Jake Starr and Xander Valentine walk out together? Why are we not at one another's throat? Why is it that I didn't take him down with a chair, like I did without hesitation to EVERYONE ELSE ON THE FUCKING PLANET? Why did Xander Valentine get a reprieve? It's simple, folks... Xander and I stand before you as the two true pillars of the history of SCW. He is the man everyone benchmarks others against, when comparing to the days of the past, until the day he left for that period of time. Then after he left, I came along. I was compared to the great Xander Valentine, and people saw me as the next dominant performer... And I was just that! As new blood came in, people started getting compared to me. People started making it their entired fucking LIFE to beat me. People dedicated everything to wanting to take out Jake Starr, and you know what, I started to wane. Much like Xander, people started looking at me differently. I wasn't seen as the force to be reckoned with, and THAT is when the ABYSMAL decision making in SCW really came to prominence.

The fact that I had the BALLS to go out there, and CRITICIZE some of those perceived as LEGENDS in SCW, and berate them in such a public forum got me fucking blacklisted from ANY KIND OF PUSH in this business. I was cast aside as a fucking troublemaker, and THAT was even AFTER I was already putting ingrates on the shelf with my steel chair. Xander knew the feeling. Xander saw the same difficulty in his own life, as he was being passed over. He, the man who was considered the most LEGENDARY individual in SCW... People would reference him as one of the greatest in history. People said nobody could ever be as great as Xander. Then guess what... He comes back after all of this hype, and people don't give a FUCK about him either. He's given the same DISRESPECT that I was given. So when he heard me call this bullshit onto the carpet, he saw potential. He saw a chance to do something special.

When the chips fell, and we were paired together, we saw it as an opportunity to see how realistic these possibilities would be. We didn't know if the coexisting of our turbulent personalities would work. I didn't know if I would want to jackhammer him across the back of the head. But when I realized he was serious, and he wanted to remedy this ATTROCITY that has befallen us both, I realized this could be quite the earthquake for SCW.

Think about it, folks... Jake Starr AND Xander Valentine... The two pariahs who are out to reshape history... Two men who have been relegated to a status of "former champions," now saying to each and every one of you listening...

FUCK YOU!

You all have pushed us aside, all so you can have your little pretty blonde princesses. You want those who make SCW look "pretty" and "beautiful," and have forgotten about those of us who BUILT THIS PLACE. Xander walked into this federation and saved it from that multiple-named, long-winded, "I do my own stunts," Jason Wheeler Zero Phantom. He did more for SCW than any of those blonde BITCHES have. I don't care how long they may have in their little title reign category, or how few losses they have, they didn't make this place what it is. Then you have me... You have the most polarizing individual in SCW, outside of those bipolar, "I like you today, don't like you tomorrow" idiots who plague our locker rooms. I am a guy who changed this business because people flat out BEGGED for a chance to face me. I wasn't even the World Champion, and people WANTED to be the guy who knocked me off. I changed SCW, and reshaped it. What has anyone done now? Sure people want to beat Syren because she's A) a drunkard who embarrasses humanity, but B) she's also former World Champion. So EVERYONE wants to be World Champion, so they think they have to go through her to get a shot. Kennedy Street... Oh yeah, everyone wants to be her first blemish, but she's got so many protectors behind her, that won't happen until someone puts a fucking restraining order on everyone. Everyone has their own bounty, but nobody is CLAMORED for, like Jake Starr was...

And now that Xander and I have found a singular voice, we can finally prove, ONCE AND FUCKING FOR ALL, that these people who THINK they can put their credentials alongside those of us who CHANGED this business are merely fucking posers! When we beat down Zorro and Silver at Flawless, we beat down two members of these posers' protectorate. We proved that we could coexist, and in doing so, will ultimately RESHAPE this business once again. When Xander and I are done, once again people will be compared to us. It won't be a Street of some name... It won't be one of the 8000 former members of nWo SCW, Infamous, it'll be Jake Starr and Xander Valentine... THE TWO FUCKING PILLARS OF THIS COMPANY!

Jake stretches his neck out.

Now at Breakdown, Silver gets his chance to come in and try and prove that it was all poor Merrick's fault, that they lost. He gets to march on into the ring, and then get beaten down once again. You see, I watched the remainder of Flawless backstage, and I saw what Kennedy Street did to retain. I saw how she avoided that first "clear loss," yet again, and can waltz around acting like her shit doesn't stink. I see a World Champion that is yet another example of why SCW has lost ALL FUCKING RESPECT for its own World Championship, by blacklisting a guy who has done EVERYTHING and sacrificed EVERYTHING for the organization, and promoted some twat who is more worried about saying she's undefeated, than actually stepping up and PROVING she's a champion.

Yeah... Rich...

So at Breakdown, more of that aggression and annoyance gets to get taken out on some piece of crap who stands in my way, and has aligned himself with the wrong sugar daddy. You see, Sire, when you pal around with a piece of shit like Merrick, and embrace the BULLSHIT LIES he's been spewing around, you put yourself into a category of people who I feel should just be put out of their misery. You live in a fantasy land. I don't know much about your personal opinions or who you are, but the SIMPLE FUCKING FACT you are aligned with Wiseman in the LEAST makes me hate the air you breathe... And I cannot WAIT to get out there and beat you, and make Merrick watch every last minute of it.

Now don't get me wrong, I fully expect Merrick to come down and disqualify me. It won't be because I used a chair, smacked you with a closed fist, or because Xander decided you deserved another boot to the kisser, but because I will have committed a heinous crime in the eyes of Barney Fife... I would have committed elder abuse. I would have hurt the old fogey, who couldn't quite hang with the wee younger folk. I'm sure "back in the day" you were extremely fleet of foot. I'm sure you danced until the midnight oil burned out. I'm sure you and Betty White once had coffee with Jesus, and it was great. But in today's business, IN MY RING, none of that means fucking SHIT! I don't care how "smart" you think you are, let's face it, you're old. You're past your prime. You're nothing like what you were back when pro wrestling was simply a radio show, or MAYBE a "talkie" at a local theatre. You're nothing like what you were when Hitler bombed London.

Jake smirks.

But in all seriousness, Sire... You are someone who will let me, yet again, get into Wiseman's head. You will be that foil who lets me abuse him without having to cross his little puny lines. Like I said, I expect him to try and disqualify me. If it isn't because of elder abuse, it'll be because he found some small loophole to do so, and ultimately use it to his advantage. He'll do it because, no matter how much he, or you, like to pretend you're about "the law," you're not. When it comes to what is best for YOU TWO, that's all that matters, and you've proven it time and time again. You're just as guilty of disrespecting people like Xander and I as everyone else is. You've DESPERATELY tried to downplay who the two of us are, and that little promo you and Wiseman jerked one another off and spout before I drilled your head into the mat, proved how HYPOCRITICAL you both were.

I mean seriously...

I'm Jake fucking Starr, here... I've been BURYING my opponents for how long, and told how "not-good-guy-like" it has been, and yet, you two fucking FLOPS come out and do the same thing? You two came out and completely trashed Xander and I, and acted like we were the good guys... You couldn't even play the role of "holier than thou" well. That tells me a lot about YOU as a person, Sire... I don't care if you think you're some pompous jackoff from the UK, you're a nobody to me. You're someone who TALKS big, and then DISAPPOINTS even bigger, and that's what will happen at Breakdown. You've already been embarrassed by Xander, when he beat your ass... You've been embarrassed by the two of us together, when I drove your head all the way to China... And now it's simply my turn. It's my turn to embarrass you alone, and let the world see what I am capable of now. The world will see how determined I am to prove everyone and their whore mother wrong.

You can try all you want to stop me... But SCW is now a two-sun solar system, and you're merely a planet. You revolve around Xander and I, and it's completely up to us whether you are able to sustain life, sustain orbit, or simply will have something catastrophic happen to you, and you'll die as a blip on someone's map of the planets. When I'm done with you, you will be forgotten. You will be done. You will be exposed, like Merrick, as someone who talked big, and went home realizing he couldn't hang with those who truly are SUPREME. You will be another footnote in my growing list of people I have dispatched of.

Jake goes to walk off screen but pauses before leaning back into frame.

... Alright, bitch, this is where you try and slam me, and sound more dickish than I do! And... GO!

The scene immediately fades to black.
