After suffering another heartbreaking defeat to Merrick Wiseman, Jake Starr knew that he needed to make sure the world understood that it was not going to be a setback for him. Unfortunately for Jake, the attack that he lead on Silas Mason and his brood at the following Breakdown lead to another instance where Jake was laid out, and trying to remember what had transpired after he came to. The war between Jake Starr and Silas's World has continued to heat up, and is becoming more and more violent, as more and more people seem to join in. What was initially Jake Starr and Silas Mason butting heads has turned into Silas Mason versus the World, and Jake Starr leading the charge.

It's a battle the likes of which SCW has not seen in some time. There have always been feuds and wars within the SCW ranks, but this one seems to be one of, if not the biggest ever. Jake Starr has never backed down from a fight, and this one will take every ounce of strength he has to pull through, and see it to the end. As the numbers increase on Jake's side, the likelihood that things could turn in his favor increase. Nevertheless, with the amount of people being hired by Silas's World, who knows if Jake's side of the fight will ever be able to catch up.

Thankfully for Jake, there is a bit of a break before his next, and almost guaranteed run-in with Silas Mason, as he, Thören Holt, and Brandon Evans make their way to Des Moines, where Thören plans to stay in one of Jake's guest rooms, until he can figure out how to confront his own family about his decisions. It'll also allow him to converse with Jake, about their next steps in the battles between the two of them, and the plethora of competition within Silas's World.

As the trio exit the jet bridge, Brandon is quick to make a beeline for the restroom. Jake and Thören chuckle, watching Brandon trying to dodge the foot traffic, and weave his way into the facilities. After emerging refreshed and "vacated," Jake can't help but make an inquiry that baffled both he and his nephew.

Jake Starr: So... Is there any reason you held it the ENTIRE FUCKING FLIGHT?

Brandon Evans: Yes...

Thören Holt: And that would be?

Before Brandon can answer, Jake answers for him.

Jake Starr: STUPID! That's what it would be!

Brandon rolls his eyes.

Brandon Evans: The toilets on board scare me.

Both Thören and Jake freeze, and turn to look at Brandon.

Thören Holt: Pardon me?

Brandon Evans: They scare me!

Jake Starr: Who the FUCK is scared of a toilet?

Brandon Evans: I'm not scared of just ANY toilet... Just of the ones on airplanes!

Jake Starr: That's fucking irrational, dude... Why?

Brandon Evans: I might get sucked out!

Jake can't contain himself, and begins laughing hard. Thören's face lights up with a huge smile as well, looking over at Jake.

Thören Holt: He's kidding, right? I mean, he's not serious... Is he?

Jake Starr: God I don't know!

Brandon Evans: Guys?! Have you ever heard those things when you flush them? They suck shit STRAIGHT OUT OF THE PLANE!

Jake Starr: Umm... No they don't...

Brandon Evans: I HEAR IT WITH MY OWN EARS, JAKE!

Jake Starr: You hear it flushing, stupid! If it sucked it out of the plane, the entire cabin would depressurize, and we'd all go to sleep, and ultimately die!

Thören is shocked by the actual educational response given by Jake.

Thören Holt: Is that really how it would work?

Jake Starr: Actually yes... If the toilets were opening to the outside air, the pressure in the cabin would rush out, and we'd all basically go to sleep because of lack of oxygen. Truthfully we'd be dead prior to the crashing of the plane because of hypoxia...

Brandon Evans: I'm lost... So you're saying it's not sucking it out?

Jake Starr: No, dumbass! It's not!

Brandon Evans: Oh... Well good because I tend to need to shit about midway through a flight, so now I can...

Jake Starr: Jesus!

Thören Holt: Can I suggest we convince him it's sucking it out again?

Jake Starr: No shit...

As they reach the escalators, they begin their declension to the baggage claim and ticketing area. As they are beneath them comes into better view, Jake immediately sees his wife, Roeper, and their daughter, Mara, standing their waiting for their arrival. As Mara sees her father, and Jake reaches the bottom of the stairway, Mara streaks across the souvenir area, into the waiting arms of her daddy. As she embraces Jake, one word blurts from her mouth, which says more than an entire sentence could.

Mara Jade Hart: Daddy!!!!

Jake just smiles and gives her a big fatherly hug, and picks her up. After squeezing her tightly, he leans back and looks at her.

Jake Starr: So... Did you miss me?

Mara Jade Hart: I did!

Jake Starr: Did you have fun while I was gone?

Mara Jade Hart: Yep! And Mommy let me watch you on the TV, too!

Jake is surprised, and looks at Roeper, cocking an eyebrow. She just grins, and shrugs, as Jake looks back at his daughter.

Jake Starr: Oh she did, did she?

Mara Jade Hart: Yep! Do you have a boo boo?

Jake smirks.

Jake Starr: Daddy ALWAYS has boo boos, especially when my "friends" on TV seem to play a little rougher than normal.

Mara Jade Hart: Well they didn't look like y'all were friends...

Jake smirks at his daughter's innocence and lack of understanding, as Thören leans in toward Mara and chimes in.

Thören Holt: Daddy seemingly has a strange idea of what friendship is all about.

Jake just rolls his eyes, and Thören smirks.

As Jake and Mara continue to talk, Thören walks over to Roeper, and embraces her. Roeper looks up at her nephew with a slightly stunned look in her eye.

Roeper Hart: What was that for?

Thören Holt: I just wanted to tell you thank you for offering me a place to stay...

Roeper Hart: Oh, it's no problem at all! You're family... I don't know why you wouldn't go home, though... Figured they would put you up.

Thören chuckles.

Thören Holt: Roeper, you know your brother... Do you REALLY think that he's going to be someone who lets me waltz on in there and live around them, right now?

Roeper nods.

Roeper Hart: Touche... I didn't figure they would be the best of moods, but I figured they'd at least still be your parents...

Thören Holt: Yeah... Not very likely right now. Since I've now "gotten involved" with things, rather than just being a face on camera, they don't really feel the need to deal with me right now. I have gotten some tasteful texts from Mom, and reading them simply gives me the reassurance that it's best to stay away.

Jake overhears Thören, and interjects.

Jake Starr: Oh... I'm sure those were fun to read...

Thören Holt: Yeah... Not so much! She's extra bitchy, now, and I truthfully would rather not feel the need to punch her in the throat.

Roeper winces at the harsh statement.

Roeper Hart: Kind of a harsh thing to say about your mom, isn't it?

Thören cocks an eyebrow.

Thören Holt: Is it? You know her as much as I do, and for even longer. You know how much of a bitch she can be...

Again, Jake interjects.

Jake Starr: ... And Thören has a very well-articulated point, there.

Roeper smacks Jake in the arm opposite of the one holding his daughter, as Brandon laughs.

Thören is antsy to leave the airport and relax a bit, and is quick to try and urge everyone to be in the same mood.

Thören Holt: So... I'm going to go get the luggage!

Mara hears this, and decides she wants to do the same.

Mara Jade Hart: Can I help?

Jake looks over at Thören.

Jake Starr: Mind if she tags along?

Thören Holt: Sure! She can get the heavy stuff!

Mara Jade Hart: I'm big and strong!

Thören Holt: We'll see, won't we?

Mara hops down from Jake's arms, and hold's Thören's hand. They walk over, around the corner, toward the baggage claim area, quickly leaving everyone behind. Brandon, Jake and Roeper slowly begin making their way in the same direction, while continuing their conversation. Unlike with Thören, they have had the same routine for years, so the necessity to hurry isn't the same with them. They understand how slow the airport is about unloading luggage, and they don't feel the need to hurry up and wait.

Once Roeper sees that Thören is out of earshot, she stops their progression, and whispers to her husband.

Roeper Hart: ... What the hell is going on with all of this?

Jake looks confused.

Jake Starr: What do you mean, babe?

Roeper Hart: ... With Thören... Just a couple of months ago, he was at your throat, trying to end your career. And now, since we went to the hospital, it's like you've forgotten all of that. It's like you don't remember what happened before he went down...

Jake Starr: I haven't forgotten anything... When we went to the hospital, Thören and I talked, and you know that. He told me about how he messed up, and truthfully I think it was a great learning experience for him.

Roeper Hart: Well is he trustworthy?

Brandon chimes in.

Brandon Evans: Roeper is right, dude. We don't know if he's trustworthy, and since he had this magical "come to Jesus" moment with himself, he's basically acted like he was never out to get us. Something about that just doesn't seem right. Something seems off and weird. I mean, don't get me wrong, here, having him on our side is MUCH NICER than him being a thorn in our side, but it just seems like too much of a "perfect storm."

Jake pauses, and looks at the both.

Jake Starr: Alright, guys... Listen... This is a new world for Thören, now that he's got his head on straight. The dude got beat up, and he's all gung ho about trying to go all "Leeroy Jenkins" on Silas's World, but someone has to be the one to reel him in. He and I don't see eye to eye on everything, but the fact is, we need to be on the same page for this war. Thören wants to attack from the front, completely without thinking. He wants to be that kamikaze pilot on EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. I can't let him be stupid like that. The guy has the energy and drive to do some damage, but he needs to realize that he needs to do it the right way, so it has maximum impact.

Roeper Hart: Well that all sounds fine and good, but that doesn't answer my question... Is he trustworthy?

Jake shrugs.

Jake Starr: I believe so.

Brandon Evans: You "believe so?" Why don't you KNOW so?

Jake Starr: Because you just can't "know so," that's why. You have to go with your fucking gut sometimes, and that's what I'm doing. Sometimes things don't add up on paper, but deep down, you know it's right. Do I know if I can trust Thören? I don't know... Can Thören trust me? I don't know that either. All I know is that Thören is out for blood against the same guy who is after me. For that reason, I have to believe that Thören is fucking legit. I mean, I know that I can beat the odds of the numbers game, but I like to have a little insurance here or there.

Brandon Evans: So what am I? Chopped liver?

Jake nods, sarcastically.

Jake Starr: Pretty much, yeah...

Brandon glares at Jake.

Jake Starr: ... Seriously, dude, when was the last time you joined the fight to help out?

Brandon Evans: When was the last time I was asked?

Jake rolls his eyes.

Jake Starr: ... Am I required to put in a request for your assistance, now?

Brandon Evans: No... I was just curious when the last time you asked was...

Jake rolls his eyes, again.

Roeper Hart: The fact is, I'm just worried, like always. It's just too awkward, for me. Thören magically appearing on your side after everything that had gone down just doesn't add up to me. I know my own family well enough to know that they're capable of trying to send someone in as a "cancer" to hurt you.

Jake Starr: And trust me, I am well aware of their vindictive ways, and their desire to ruin my life. The big difference, here, is the fact that Thören got beat up. Thören was put in the hospital, and damn near turned into a vegetable. He's fucking pissed about that. So right now, if he has some other mission, then it's being trumped by his desire for revenge. And once he gets that revenge, then maybe we'll start to see his other motives, but until then, I can tell you that the guy is VERY focused.

Roeper Hart: I hope so... Especially for your sake...

Brandon Evans: And I'm going to be honest... He may turn out to be trustworthy, but for now, he's not getting out of my sight.

Jake looks around.

Jake Starr: You mean, like now?

Brandon rolls his eyes in annoyance.

Brandon Evans: You know what I mean, dude... I am not going to let him do something sneaky and screw us all over.

Jake Starr: Trust me... You both need to relax. Until there is a sign that there is something to worry about, we will be focusing on the problem at hand. Besides, how does that saying go, the enemy of my enemy is my friend?

With those final words, Thören and Mara emerge from the baggage claim area, and Thören is quick to ask if everyone is ready. Brandon responds saying that he's as ready as he's going to be, and the group head out to the parking garage, to head for Jake's house.

How reliable Thören will be to Jake, is unknown, and whether or not Thören has another motive in this, is also an unknown, but for now, the pair represent the biggest thorn in the side of Silas Mason, and his dream of SCW dominance. Until Silas can completely silence Jake Starr and anyone associated with him and his opposition to Silas's reign, the war will continue, and the battle for SCW supremacy will wage on.

Jake Starr: I think it is safe to say that some people just don't get it. Some people can't see facts, and can't see reality for what it is. Instead, they live in this "perfect world," that only exists in their mind. I speak, of course, of Silas Mason, and his band of Merry Misfits, who have decided that this world that everyone lives in, is all about them. They fail to realize that, as they continue to bring all of these new people in, that nobody has ever heard of, mind you, it simply makes people turn more and more away from them and their cause. Each time they decide to play the "look at how many people we have bwah ha ha," card, people care less and less because it shows their desperation. It shows how juvenile they are. It shows how little they comprehend what it is they're trying to do. I mean, let's think about it here... Let's think about what I am saying, here, shall we? Silas Mason came in with a lot of gusto, when he first showed up. He wanted everyone to KNOW he was on the scene, and what his plans were. Then he started building his conglomerate of patsies, and never stopped. In his mind, it was a way to show how powerful he was because he could surround himself with a bunch of no-name, or mediocre in some cases, talent, and expect everyone to shit their pants.

It's either that, or he simply didn't want to be the only incontinent one in Supreme Championship Wrestling...

The truth is, nobody respects desperation, and that is exactly what Silas Mason is proving to be. Every time he has guffawed over his next prodigy, who will take SCW by storm, what happens? They fail. They slip up. They fall short. They show the world that he can hype them up like a motherfucker, but in the end, they always prove to be a disappointment. Each time he has tried to "lead that horse to water," he's watched them simply look at him, and refuse to drink his Kool-Aid. It wasn't because they weren't talented enough because I think, in the end, people like Kelcey Wallace are talented enough to reach that higher level. I think the problem is Silas. I think it's his continuing effort to cut his true stars off at the knees, degrade them, berate them, insult them, force them into, basically, slavery, and treat them like pieces of shit, that make them willing to allow themselves to come up a little short each time.

He doesn't see it, though...

He doesn't realize that as being the case...

All Silas Mason sees is that he needs to try and find a "newer model" in order to win, when whichever one he had last fails. It's like he believes that eventually, he'll have a champion because eventually he'll just own everyone. It'll be a championship by default. Then he will gloat, hoot, holler, and blow loads everywhere because he'll finally have gotten his wish. It wouldn't be because he earned it, but his dumbass wouldn't see it that way.

He showed that exact mentality when he took to Twitter this past weekend, out of the blue, and tried to rub it in my face that whichever nWo Japan member he's brought in, this time, laid me out. It wasn't because I provoked him on Twitter. Hell, everyone knows I usually am the one to instigate, but this time, he was so desperate for me to acknowledge him, he started it. What it showed was the neediness he has for attention. It showed how desperate his "Rootin' Tootin'" ass is, to be viewed as a major player, and if he's not, SURPRISE! NEW MEMBER! LOOK AT ME! He is the epitome of someone whose only thought in their mind, at any given time, is, "ME! ME! ME! ME! ME!" He's the stereotype of Jake Starr, although he actually personifies it BETTER THAN I DO!

How sad is that?!

How sad is it that he insults me for being greedy, and HE'S THE ONE WHO IS?!

It just shows the reality of how Silas is. It shows how desperate he is. It shows that he realizes what is happening around him, and he's struggling to avoid the inevitable. You see, Silas can already see the writing on the wall, and he's trying to do the one thing that NOBODY in the past has been able to do. He's trying to eliminate me from this organization. He realizes that as long as I'm here, the likelihood he'll survive is minimal. So why not eliminate me? Why not destroy me? Why not take out one of the longest serving members of the SCW roster, all with the hope of being viewed as someone who is as big as I am...

Jake smirks.

... That's right Silas... This whole bitch-fest you have decided to try and instigate with me shows what your true plan is. You want to be as big as Jake Starr. You want to be as important as I am. You talk about how it's not 2010 or 2011 anymore, and how I'm no longer relevant, but yet, here you are, OBSESSED with me. You stand out on that stage PURPOSELY trying to use me as your Guinea pig, hoping it gets you some street cred. It isn't because I started it. It isn't because I'm using you. I could honestly give two fucks about you because you're in that same boat as the Infection and Infamous. Everyone is so FUCKING SICK of seeing you in every other segment of a show, they just have begun to switch the shows of. Neilson is reporting that during segments involving you and your increasing number of members, like the Duggar Family, viewership for SCW programming drops to nearly zero. The only reason it isn't zero is because those you don't bring out for said segment watch in the back. Conversely, you realize how much I still bring in the ratings, and how much people STILL PAY ATTENTION TO ME! You realize how I am STILL one of the best in this business, and it isn't because I'm lucky, but because I've done things most people can't say. I've stood the test of time, and I continue to do things that amaze people.

YOU CAN'T FUCKING SAY THAT!

The only thing you're amazing at, is trying to hide your true reasoning. You try to convince people that you're superior to me, when you know you're not. You realize that I am someone who has already etched his name into the HISTORY BOOKS of SCW, and I am still doing so. You haven't done shit, but multiple your numbers like a fucking bunny rabbit. You have simply increased the SCW roster size by God knows how many, and you swear these are people who are not nobodies, yet they are. You make them appear out of thin air, pick them up off of the streets, promise them drugs, and say, "You're going to be the next Baby in my stable of people nobody cares about!" All they hear is you promising them drugs, and go along with it. You're like a pimp, who has found these sad sacks of shit to be your hos... It's just sad!

Jake stretches his shoulders out, still feeling a bit tender from the battle at the last Breakdown.

... But what I do find quite comical is the fact that you've resorted to an even more tired and obvious sense of desperation, even for you. You're sending BRITTANY LOHAN to do your dirty work. You're sending one of the most desperate individuals in SCW after me? Really? Seriously? You're kidding, right? I mean, is she your version of Boba Fett, or something, going around doing your dirty work? Don't you really know what Brittany is like? She is the queen of the, "oh please like me," club. She's gone and been a member of every group in the history of SCW since I've been around, it seems like, all wanting to feel like she belongs.

And by God she is now the saving grace to take me out, right?

Silas, Brittany and I have tangled in the past. She and I have battled up one side of the ring, and down the other, and each time I leave her lying in the middle of it, wishing she had decided to make alternate plans for the evening. And you want her to be your "White Knight," in this fight?

Really?

You would have been better off calling up the Cobra Kai Dojo, and asking them to do so because you OBVIOUSLY have no clue what it would take to bring me down... And that simply makes me happy!

See, if you actually knew what you were doing, you'd send someone who wasn't just playing the role of your lackey so she could be liked by someone. You'd have picked someone who actually was a STAPLE in this industry as someone who is having success, rather than someone who is just desperate to fit in with whoever she feels is the "in crowd" at the time. So after Breakdown, it's simple... You're going to be living in that same world of disappointment you've been thriving in since you started this little charade of yours.

But for you, Brittany, it's a little different. Your charade isn't a charade, it's who you are. Like I said, you're someone who is desperate to be liked and be relevant because you've never tasted that feeling in SCW. You've always been that person who has reached too high on the ladder, and when you missed the rung, hit every one with your chin on the way down. Now you roll with Silas because you see him as the next person who could possible carry you past mediocrity, and into the main event. The fact is, you're a nobody to him, too. You're nobody he cares about. You're nobody he respects. You're simply a hired asset to him, for HIS personal gain, and not yours. I don't care what kind of promises he makes to you, he lies. You're that expendable piece of the puzzle he needs for his bidding.

But let's be honest, here... You're too stupid to see that!

In your mind, just like in the past, this is your "family," and those who are looking out for you. But just like before, they're not. You're being sent into the lion's den as a distraction. You're being sent in so Silas can figure out who he's going to conjure up next, to be the "shocking addition" to his faction of fuck-ups. You're simply his patsy. If you can beat me down well, good. He's happy. He can give you a cookie, and make you feel special until I rise up again. But if I do like I have done every single time our paths have crossed, and I beat your ass down, then he doesn't lose anything. He will lose someone whom he doesn't really care all that much about, and he'll have time to figure out how he's going to be "sneaky" and try and jump me. If you're no longer in his picture, it's not the end of his world. He'll still remain the same delusional fuck he already is.

So that tells me I don't have to use you as a "message" for him...

I don't have to "make an example" of you...

All I have to do is go out there and beat your ass, like I've done time and time again. At Breakdown, I just need to worry about putting you in your place, and waiting for Silas to be painfully obvious about what he does next. I mean, seriously, should i not expect him to magically run out there and attack me? Should I not expect some kind of interference? Of course I should. And whether it's Kelcey, Chris, Angelica, or even your dear pal Harmony, it won't matter because Silas is so damn unoriginal, that's what will happen. So my focus is simple... I'm going to go out there and I'm going to beat your ass. I am going to embarrass you in front of the world, and then I'm going to wait for Silas to make the next move.

You see, I'm not going out there to be sneaky. I'm not going out there to make people guess. I'm going out on Breakdown to continue the fight that I, for once, am bringing to someone else. Silas may think his numbers game will change how I perceive things, and it'll beat me down into submission, but he forgets that I've outlasted some of the greats. I will not be taken out by some ingrate, who doesn't truly respect this organization. I will NOT be outlasted by someone who is a mere carbon copy of his predecessors. I will not be stopped in my quest to be the World Champion again, and I don't care HOW FUCKING LONG it takes me to get there. I don't care if I have to lose 100 matches before I win the big one, I am willing to do it.

It's something I will not quit or give up on!

So when this battle continues, Brittany, I hope you finally come to terms with realizing you mean nothing to him. You're as much a Social Misfit as I am. You've never been accepted. You've never been liked. You've never been who you thought you should be. It's just too bad you were so stupid to think Silas Mason was your ticket to success because in the end, he led you to me. You've faced that reality in the past, and when that reality has stared you down, you've fallen short of doing anything of substance. This time, it won't be any different. While I go out there and I destroy another group you've decided to try and latch onto, the world will see my rebirth, and resurgence.

Maybe when all is said and done, you'll realize that you just don't belong? Maybe when all is said and done, you'll realize you're an outcast? Truth is, if you don't, it's going to continue to lead you toward disappointment and misery because you're not a hired gun, you're not anything you've professed to be in the past. Brittany... You're a Misfit. You're an outcast. You're not like the rest. I will say, though... You do share one trait with Silas, and maybe this is what you see and believe in...

YOU'RE A LITTLE BITCH!
